Novi Film Students Intern With Riverside TV!

Emanuel Lopez and Jennifer Lopez, both Sophomores in Mrs. Luther's Film Production 2 class, recently interned with RiversideTV to broadcast Norte Vista's home football game to the City of Riverside's TV channel, YouTube, and Facebook Live accounts! The students got to experience operating a variety of live cameras, taking turns focusing on the wide-field shots and the "hero" cams (close-up on the quarterback and the action). They also experienced operating the switcher board in the broadcasting van and assisting with live interviews and commentaries. They had a blast and can't wait to do it again - and to encourage more of their classmates to sign up for the next opportunity. Riverside TV has been a wonderful community partner to our new Film Production program.
